WSET Level 2 Award in Wines
An intermediate level qualification for anyone looking to explore the world of wine.

Individuals looking for a core understanding in worldwide wines.

Valuable to any individual interested in learning about wines.
Requirements:
No previous study requirements, no wine knowledge is assumed. WSET Level 1 Award in Wines is NOT a prerequisite to taking WSET Level 2 Award in Wines.
At least 21 years of age.
You'll learn:
How grape-growing, winemaking and maturation factors influence the style and quality of wines
Key labeling terms used to indicate origin, style and quality
The style and quality of wines made from 30 grape varieties and in over 70 geographical indications (GIs)
How grape varieties and winemaking processes influence key styles of sparkling and fortified wines
Principles and processes involved in wine storage, service and food pairing
How to describe and assess wine using the WSET Level 2 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine
You'll achieve:
The skills to select, taste and describe wines with confidence
Successful candidates receive the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines certificate and lapel pin.
